When it comes time for a kitchen remodel you want to make sure that you are up to date on the newest design trends. Design trends are constantly changing and sometimes they can be hard to follow. That is why we are going to be taking a lot at some of the kitchen design trends for 2022.
The first trend that we are going to talk about is seamless backsplashes. A seamless backsplash is a backsplash that is one continuous piece, as opposed to, having tiles or brick. Glass is a popular material for this and overall, seamless backsplashes are easier to clean because there isn’t any grout.
The next trend that we are going to look at is the introduction of more vintage or antique pieces into the kitchen. vintage furniture gives the kitchen more of a warm, safe feel. A vintage table, used as an island, is one way that you can follow this trend and it would not take too much effort to do.
Finally, the last trend we will look at is curved corners and cabinets. This year we will start to see more curved edges, leaving behind sharp corners. This will also be seen on more round islands as well.
