Water

Water is an important part of our lives. In fact, it is crucial to our survival. Without water, we would not survive for very long, as it makes up as much as two thirds of our body as well as influencing every bodily function that we have. Water can help many aches and pains as well, and patients with headaches discovered that their headache went away within half an hour of drinking only just two cups of water.

Unfortunately however, bad water, or just bad tasting water, keeps people from drinking as much water as they should be. Bad water is in part responsible for the three quarters of all Americans who are consistently functioning as a low level of dehydration. Dehydration, in part because of bad water, is referred to by many as a hidden epidemic in the United States.

Hard water is a major culprit of bad water or bad tasting water, and it effects nearly 90% of all people in the United States, the majority of who get their water from private or household wells. Bad water is also effected in part by the tons of pollutants in our water sources like lakes and rivers and hard water contains high levels of mineral salts like calcium as well as magnesium. Hard water, other than just creating bad tasting or bad water, can have other negative effects, like staining ceramic bath tubs and sinks as well as other negative effects.

Fortunately, there is a way to turn bad water into clean water that is considerably softened from the original residential water system. Water filtration is becoming more and more popular for treating bad water as well as hard water (which are sometimes considered to be one in the same). In fact, in the United States alone one out of every ten families or households has some type of water filtration system comprised of water filters in the home or even for portable water bottles. Many different water problems can be solved with a water softener system or water filtration system, and a higher quality of water can lead to more water being drank and less people getting consistently dehydrated. Water is so beneficial for our bodies and our lives, and in fact it is necessary for our continued survival and health. Water keeps us healthy and it keeps us happy. It can even promote weight loss. Bad water unfortunately stops many people from drinking enough, but a water filtration system can help.
